RATES
Rates quoted are per person, sharing or double occupancy. Minimum group
size is usually 2 persons. If the number of participants falls below the
minimum, the tour will be evaluated and, if applicable, participants will
be responsible for additional costs. There will be a Single supplement
charge for any person not sharing, added to the price quoted.
Come2africa/Sithanda eAfrika Safari & Tours endeavour to honour the prices quoted,
however, increases do get forced upon us due to various circumstances
beyond come2africa/Sithanda eAfrika Safari & Tours control, such as exchange rates,
price of petrol/gasoline etc. come2africa/Sithanda eAfrika Safari & Tours reserve the
right to surcharge without notice, up to a maximum of 10% of the total
tour fare.
AGE LIMITS
There is no minimum age restriction on
our safari and tours. Prices for children under 10 years old on request.
Children 10 years old and above pay full price.
BOOKING AND PAYMENTS
A non-refundable deposit of 50% of the total tour
fare per person is required at the time of booking. Deposits must be paid
by bank transfer.
Full and final payment is due no later than 8
weeks prior to departure, and this is to be paid by bank transfer.
If the reservation is made within 45 days or less
of departure, the entire cost of the tour must be paid when the
reservation is made.
We reserve the right to cancel any reservation
for which the total tour price has not been paid by the due date. No
amendments to itineraries will be accepted less than 30 days before
departure date. Thereafter, all alterations to itineraries are considered
to be cancellations.
CONSENT
The payment of the deposit or any other partial payment/s for a
reservation on a safari and tour with come2africa/Sithanda eAfrika Safari & Tours
constitutes consent by all participant/s covered by that payment to all
provisions of the terms and conditions contained in this document. The
terms, under which you agree to take the safari and tour, cannot be
changed or amended except in writing signed by an authorized director of
come2africa/Sithanda eAfrika Safari & Tours.
AIRFARES
ARE NOT INCLUDED and are the participant/s responsibility to reserve and
pay for.
CANCELLATIONS
All cancellations are only effective on receipt
of written notification. If your cancellation is made after the due date
for full payment of the participant/s tour fare, charges will be levied.
The scale of cancellation charges carry the following penalties and are
expressed as a percentage of the total tour price as follows:
REFUNDS
Whilst come2africa/Sithanda eAfrika Safari & Tours endeavours to ensure that all
anticipated accommodation is available as planned, there shall be no claim
of any nature whatsoever against come2africa/Sithanda eAfrika Safari & Tours for a
refund either in the whole or part, if any accommodation is unavailable
and a reasonable alternative is not found or if any excursion is cancelled
due to weather or circumstances beyond come2africa/Sithanda eAfrika Safari & Tours'
control. If the participant/s is unable to use any service provided in the
itinerary, there are no refunds.
CHANGE OF BOOKINGS
After the booking has been confirmed, should the participant/s wish to
change the departure date, the participant/s may do so subject to
availability. If come2africa/Sithanda eAfrika Safari & Tours cannot accommodate the
participant/s for the time slot requested and the participant/s fail to
depart as scheduled, this would then be considered a cancellation and the
cancellation terms and conditions would apply.
CHANGES TO SCHEDULES
Although every effort is made to adhere to schedules it should be borne in
mind that come2africa/Sithanda eAfrika Safari & Tours reserves the right and in fact
is obliged to occasionally change routes and accommodations as dictated by
changing conditions. Such conditions may include but not limited to, acts
of God such as seasonal rainfall or disturbances in a region or any other
circumstance beyond come2africa/Sithanda eAfrika Safari & Tours control.
DOCUMENTS
Travel documents, including passports, visas, health certificates, proof
of inoculations and any other documents required for the tour are the
participant/s responsibility and must be secured before participating in
the tour. Come2africa/Sithanda eAfrika Safari & Tours shall not be liable for any
costs incurred while procuring the aforementioned documents or for
individuals who are refused entry by an immigration authority, and no
refunds will be given for the tour price in any such instances.
CONFIRMATION
Confirmation will be mailed upon receipt of deposit. Final itinerary will
be mailed on receipt of full payment for the entire party and not part
thereof.
RESPONSIBILITY
Come2africa/Sithanda eAfrika Safari & Tours and their staff or agents shall not be
responsible for and shall be exempt from all liability in respect of loss
or damage arising from any errors or omissions contained in its brochure
or other literature, loss or damage caused by delays, sickness, theft,
injury or death, accident, delay or inconvenience to any person, or their
luggage or other personal property, wherever the same shall occur and
whether the same shall arise from or be occasioned by negligence of
come2africa/Sithanda eAfrika Safari & Tours staff or agents or other persons directly
or indirectly in the employment or services of come2africa/Sithanda
eAfrika Safari &
Tours or otherwise under any circumstances whatsoever.
In addition come2africa/Sithanda eAfrika Safari & Tours shall have the right at any
time at its discretion to cancel any safari or the remainder thereof or
make any alteration in route, accommodation, price or other details and,
in the event of any safari being rendered impossible or inadvisable by
weather or any other cause whatsoever, the extra expenses incurred as a
result thereof shall be the responsibility of the participant/s.
Come2africa/Sithanda eAfrika Safari & Tours may at its discretion and without
liability or cost to itself at any time cancel or terminate the
participant/s booking and in particular without limiting the generality of
the aforegoing it shall be entitled to do so in the event of illness or
the illegal or incompatible behaviour of the participant/s, who shall in
such circumstances not be entitled to any refund.
The participant/s making any booking will, by the making of such
booking, warrant that he or she has authority to enter into a contract on
behalf of the other participant/s included in such a booking and in the
event of the failure of any or all of the other participant/s so included
to make payment, the participant making the booking shall by his/her
signature thereof assume personal liability for the total price of all
bookings made by him/her on behalf of the other participant/s.
The participant/s further agrees to abide by the terms and conditions
of come2africa/Sithanda eAfrika Safari & Tours, in addition, the participant/s
acknowledges that the acquisition of all insurances, travel documents and
medical requirements are the responsibility of the participant/s.
INSURANCE
It is a condition of booking that the sole responsibility lies with the
participant/s to ensure they carry the correct comprehensive travel and
medical insurance to cover themselves, as well as any dependants or travel
companions for the duration of their trip with come2africa/Sithanda
eAfrika Safari &
Tours.
Come2africa/Sithanda eAfrika Safari & Tours including their representatives and
employees will take no responsibility for any costs, losses incurred or
suffered by the participant/s, or participant/s dependants or travel
companions, with regards to, but not limited to, any of the following
mentioned eventualities. This insurance should include cover in respect
of, but not limited to, the following eventualities: cancellation or
curtailment of the safari, accidental death and disability, emergency
evacuation expenses, medical expenses, repatriation expenses, damage,
theft, loss of personal baggage, money and goods. Participant/s will be
charged directly by the relevant service providers for any emergency
services they may require, and may find themselves in a position unable to
access such services, should they not be carrying the relevant insurance
cover.
HEALTH
It is the sole responsibility of the tour participant/s to contact their
physician for specific advise or contact the World Health Organization
(WHO) or Centers for Disease Control (CDC) for recommendations for South
Africa, and come2africa/Sithanda eAfrika Safari & Tours takes no responsibility
whatsoever for the health requirements that should be met by the
participant/s.
Come2africa/Sithanda eAfrika Safari & Tours does, however, recommend you commence
anti-malaria precautions prior to departure and that the participant/s
consult with their physician for specific advice.
If the participant/s are a contagious-disease carrier, it is required
that come2africa/Sithanda eAfrika Safari & Tours is informed when booking a Safari and
Tour.
ACCOMMODATION
Accommodation will be of come2africa/Sithanda
eAfrika Safari & Tours' choice, and we
reserve the right to choose or substitute these as necessary and
circumstance dictating, for accommodation of similar quality.
BAGGAGE
All luggage is required to have outside identification tags. The limit is
2 bags per person. Come2africa/Sithanda eAfrika Safari & Tours is not responsible for
any luggage lost or delayed on the airlines, and any claims must be
settled with the airlines directly. The participants are responsible for
their own luggage throughout the tour.
CIRCUMSTANCES BEYOND OUR CONTROL
The participant/s recognizes that come2africa/Sithanda
eAfrika Safari & Tours is not
responsible for circumstances beyond its control, including, without
limitation, acts of God, fire, accident, sickness, insurrection,
government intervention, weather conditions, quarantine, civil
disturbances or sabotage. Come2africa/Sithanda eAfrika Safari & Tours will use its
best efforts to reschedule or alter tours affected by any of the
foregoing, but is not under any obligation to refund any portion of the
cost of the tour or to reimburse the participant in any way, even if
forced to cancel a trip as a result. In the event that come2africa/Sithanda
eAfrika
Safari & Tours investigates the prevailing situation, and decides, at its
sole discretion, that the tour can go forward, but the participant/s
elects to cancel, then the provisions regarding cancellation will apply.
These provisions also apply to delays and cancellations involving
airlines, including those involving travel to and from the destination.
The participant/s understands that such delays are beyond come2africa/Sithanda
eAfrika
Safari & Tours' control, and that the participant/s must look to the terms
and conditions established by the carrier for any refunds.
